Students may arrive anytime during this hour. Open Studio is designed as a relaxed creative environment where students can work on individual or collaborative projects, explore materials through experimental play, and receive one-on-one instructor feedback.
This time encourages curiosity, creative confidence, and independent thinking while allowing students to ease into the afternoon in an inspiring studio setting.
4:00–6:00 PM | Guided Instruction & Studio Practice
Instruction begins promptly at 4:00 PM with a live art demonstration introducing the week’s lesson, technique, or project. Demonstrations are approximately 30 minutes and are followed by guided studio work, individualized feedback, and hands-on support.
Students may choose to closely follow the demonstration or use it as inspiration to create a more personalized piece while developing their own artistic voice.
