Portrait Painting Essentials

Whether you're looking to learn the basics of painting, or you're a seasoned artist looking to sharpen your skills, look no further! In this workshop,  Francesca will teach the essentials of painting- specific to portraiture and environment. Students will learn by  using a photo reference- using their own,  or one provided by Francesca. This is a continuation of the 11/5 Drawing class. We'll be using our drawing as our study for the painting.  If you're interested in just the painting proportion, the drawing class is not required, but recommended as it's a great way to see how paint works through charcoal and graphite.

The class will start with a lecture to get our creativity flowing! Afterwards, Francesca will demo some painting intermittently as students work, ensuring one and one feedback and help.
